A solitaire necklace featuring a round brilliant-cut diamond set with ultra-fine platinum prongs.
By using a special high-hardness platinum, TLP950®, even the delicate prongs securely hold the stone, allowing the diamond’s natural sparkle to be enjoyed from every angle.
The round brilliant cut, believed to have been invented in 17th-century Venice, was theoretically perfected in the early 20th century by Marcel Tolkowsky, a mathematician who was also a diamond cutter.
Its 58 facets produce colorful dispersion, known as fire; powerful brilliance from internal reflection; and scintillation, the sparkle that appears across the surface as it moves. When these three elements are balanced, the round brilliant produces its uniquely radiant light.
This necklace uses high-quality white diamonds cut in Antwerp, Belgium, the historic center of diamond polishing.
We selected stones with the top cut grade of 3EX (Triple Excellent) and H color, which is classified as nearly colorless. The diamond is available in two sizes: 0.06ct and 0.10ct.
A simple, refined necklace in which the brilliance of diamonds—where theory and technique crystallize—gently rises at the neckline.
