The round brilliant cut, said to have been invented in 17th-century Venice, was theoretically perfected in the early 20th century by Marcel Tolkowsky, a doctorate-holding mathematician and diamond cutter.
The 58 facets produce spectral dispersion (fire), strong internal reflections (brilliance), and surface flashes that follow movement (scintillation). When these three elements are balanced, they create the radiant light unique to the round brilliant.

These earrings use high-quality white diamonds cut in Antwerp, Belgium, the historic center of diamond cutting.
We selected stones with the highest cut grade, 3EX (Triple Excellent), and color graded H, which falls into the near-colorless range. Stone sizes are available in two options: 0.06ct and 0.10ct.
