From such an idea was born the collection "Staple".
A new jewelry has been created by fastening randomly cut natural stones with staple-shaped parts.

Traditional jewelry settings have used "prongs" and "bezels" to hold stones in place. A new form of stone setting that does not require these has allowed for greater freedom in the shapes of the natural stones used. To express this sense of liberation, we have adorned the pieces with natural stones featuring various cuts.

A delicate ridge emerges in the center of a voluminous natural stone. The shape of the kasugai parts is designed to enhance that contrast.

These natural stones are carefully cut and polished one by one by a craftsman with over 60 years of experience. The subtle variations created by the traditional "tezuri" hand-rubbing technique, passed down since the Edo period, give each stone its own unique character.
