A refined two-tone necklace featuring a single emerald-cut diamond.
The emerald cut is said to have originated around the 16th century for Colombian emeralds, which were prone to chipping, and was later applied to diamonds. With large, flat facets that reveal the stone’s interior, this cut is used only for a very small portion of diamonds that possess exceptional clarity and well-formed crystal structure. They are rare — said to be less than 2% of all diamonds.
Rather than a strong, flashy sparkle, it is characterized by a quiet, mirrored brilliance on the cut surfaces. It produces a calm, dignified light that showcases the quality of the material.
To further accentuate the diamond’s whiteness, the setting is made of platinum. By partially enclosing the stone, the setting subtly enhances its transparent brilliance. The chain is made of K18 yellow gold, and the contrast between the different metals adds visual depth to the neckline. The diamond is available in two sizes: 0.09ct and 0.14ct.
