SCHEME01: A balance of delicacy and presence
0.0014ct, diameter less than 1mm. This micro pavé diamond jewelry is adorned with extremely small diamonds, classified among the smallest category of small diamonds known as melee diamonds. The goal was to achieve a balance between delicacy and presence.
※Pave (pave) means "paving stone" or "cobblestone" in French.
How much diamond to pave. Initially, the design was "3 rounds, diameter4.0mm" specification. However,「その直径だと"Even with a very small size diamond, it's difficult to make three rounds," the craftsman from the workshop expressed his concerns. After communicating with the craftsman multiple times,The settled size after repeatedly verifying adjustments of less than 0.1mm was a diameter of 4.4mm.
The cast prototype of the completed ring. To create a contrast with the size of the top, it will be crafted as a slender ring with a width of 1mm.
SCHEME02:What can be done because it's extremely small
By using ultra-small diamonds, we can reduce not only the diameter of the top but also the height (thickness). As a result, it maintains its presence while giving a neat impression. Above all, the concern of snagging has been minimized, allowing us to create a shape suitable for everyday use.
SCHEME03:Shine in every cornerto
Typically, in order to firmly express a round shape, pavé designs often involve surrounding the diamonds with a metal frame in a circular shape. However, in this design, the diamonds are laid out all the way to the edges without being enclosed by a frame. Despite the size of the top, you can feel a significant presence of brilliance.
SCHEME04: A position suitable for any ear
The most challenging aspect was the position of the pierce post. In many jewelry brands, the post is attached to the top. For those with earlobes that taper, when worn, the top protrudes from the ear, which does not look beautiful. We want everyone, regardless of ear type, to wear our jewelry beautifully. To achieve this, the top must be securely...It needs to fit in the ear.
After seeking cooperation from those around me and verifying the average position of piercing holes, it was found that most people have their holes located in the lower part of the earlobe. To ensure that the top fits securely within the earlobe, the post was positioned at the center of the top. This design provides a sense of presence while also allowing the area around the ears to appear neat and tidy.
