The Terms of Use for "cobaco" (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") are established for the products and services (hereinafter referred to as "the Services") provided by the online store "cobaco" (hereinafter referred to as "our Store") operated by cobaco Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), and apply between the Company and individual or corporate customers.
By using our store, you are deemed to have agreed to all the conditions stated in these terms, so please be sure to check them before use.

This includes the provision of services based on your interactions with other merchants and Shopify (Enhanced Services). Enhanced Services enable us to provide you with a more personalized experience, deliver more relevant advertisements, and understand how you interact with our store and advertisements.

(Product Prices)
The prices of products sold in our store vary depending on the product. Please check each product page.

(Ordering Products)
After selecting products from the designated order form, please fill in the necessary information for your order, such as delivery address and payment method. Once the order is completed, you are deemed to have agreed to all the notes and other contents described on the product page and this site. We will send you a confirmation email with the details you provided and your order information. Please note that subsequent confirmation procedures may be conducted mainly by email, but also by phone or mail, so please understand in advance. We are not responsible for any damages caused by failure to receive communications from us, so please be sure to enter contact information where we can reach you (the customer who placed the order).

(Product Reservations)
We do not accept requests for product holds or reservations. Thank you for your understanding.

(Product Shipping)
Delivery addresses are limited to domestic addresses. (For overseas customers, separate payment and shipping services are provided.)Payment methods, delivery methods, and delivery times vary depending on the product and your region. For details on shipping, please check "About Shipping".

(Product Returns and Exchanges)
We do not accept returns or exchanges except for defective products. Returns are not accepted for resized rings, made-to-order jewelry, custom orders (including engraving), clothing, care products, and other consumables. If you contact us more than 7 days after product arrival, even if it is an initial defect, repairs (paid) may be required, so please be careful.
We carefully inspect and ship products, but if there is a defective product, a product different from the order, or a damaged product, we will promptly exchange or repair it at our expense. Please contact us within 7 days of product arrival(within 3 days for 'MINERAL SPECIMENS' only). Exchanges due to customer convenience or exchanges for different products are not accepted. If you do not follow the rules described above, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. Also, regarding shortages, defects, or flaws in products, we are not responsible for providing remedies other than those stipulated above. for payment. Please note that additional fees may apply depending on the payment method, and all such fees are borne by the customer.
After placing an order, changes to the payment method cannot be made from the perspective of personal information protection. If you change the payment method for your convenience, all fees incurred will be borne by you. For details on payment methods, please check "About Payment Methods".(Order Cancellation)We accept cancellations until we send you the "Order Confirmation Notice" email after confirming your order. After that, production begins immediately, and cancellations or changes are not accepted. Please understand this in advance.
If you cancel after the deadline due to unavoidable reasons, you will be charged 50% of the product price excluding consumption tax.(Order Changes)If you wish to change your order details such as payment or delivery methods, please contact us. However, if production has already started at the time of your contact, changes to the order are not accepted. We are not responsible for any problems caused by failure to complete the change procedure.

(Handling of Customer Information)
Customer information (personal and order information) entrusted to us is strictly managed in accordance with our separately established privacy policy. Also, since our store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify also processes your personal data.

.(Prohibited Acts)The following acts are prohibited when using our store. If we determine that your actions fall under the following, we may terminate the contract with you without notice or refuse your use of this service in the future. (Service Interruption)
We are not responsible for any damages caused to customers due to partial or complete suspension of this service caused by force majeure (including but not limited to infectious diseases, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, enactment or repeal of laws and regulations, guidance and orders from administrative agencies, power outages, communication line and computer or network equipment failures, system maintenance, data loss, unauthorized access, failures or accidents of subcontractors, warehouse logistics, transportation agencies, labor disputes, equipment accidents, Shopify system failures or maintenance).
Governing Law
The interpretation and application of these terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan, regardless of conflict of law rules.
Copyright

The copyrights of the content posted on this site, newsletters distributed from our store, manuscripts, images, illustrations, videos, audio, photos, designs, data, etc., belong to us or content providers and are protected by copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction or use of the content, text, images, etc., on this site is strictly prohibited.
Please note that emails received from customers may be published in our online store content or newsletters. Also, products ordered by customers may be featured in our online shop content, newsletters, or social media. If you do not wish your images or emails to be used or published, please indicate so. Disclaimer
1. We are not liable for any damages (direct or indirect) incurred by customers through use of our store or products and services provided by us. However, damages caused by services provided by Shopify are subject to Shopify's terms of use and privacy policy. Regarding product defect liability, if we exchange for a good product, we are not liable for damages.

2. If we are liable to customers or third parties for reasons excluding the application of the disclaimer provisions in these terms, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence by us, liability is limited to direct damages only, and the maximum amount of damages payable shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer to us, which both parties agree in advance.
Severability
If any provision or part of these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable under the Consumer Contract Act or other laws, the remaining provisions shall continue to be effective.

Others
1. If litigation is necessary regarding the use of this service, the Kobe Summary Court or Kobe District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance. However, disputes related to services provided by Shopify may be subject to the jurisdiction stipulated in Shopify's terms of use.
2. If we incur costs for lawyers or other professionals due to customer's non-payment or violation of these terms, such costs shall be borne by the customer.

(As of September 1, 2025)
Even if any provision or part thereof of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable under the Consumer Contract Act or any other applicable laws or regulations, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain in full force and effect.

Other
1. In the event that litigation becomes necessary regarding the use of this service, the Kobe Summary Court or the Kobe District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance. However, for disputes related to services provided by Shopify, the court of jurisdiction stipulated in Shopify's Terms of Service may apply.
2. If the Company employs legal professionals such as attorneys due to the customer's failure to pay the purchase price or violation of these Terms, the customer shall also bear the costs of such professionals, including attorney fees.
